Holland & Belgium

Randomised photos...

My favourite photo/postcards... It was like 3-5euros for this card >_<
I feel so xingfu to be in the tulipsfield!

The red light district. I believe the name of 'red light district' is originated from Amsterdam. There are really red lights in this area and each sexy lady is standing inside the tiny room. When the curtains are closed, means its ON business... The business is legalised there, and even police are protecting them. It might be a profession in Amsterdam. I tried to risk my life to take the photos of them, but I failed when a lady came out of the tiny room and scolded me T_T

The cute gal who was trying to show me the swans on the river... So cute of her.

My favourite pink tulips!!

Manchester United Trafford stadium

Mine is the heaviest (12.3kg) and tallest but then the smallest one being forced to check in the luggage...

See the dipped chocolate and waffles?

The ticket costs us <£6 for museum and tour, because of the promotion voucher I got... ^_^
This restaurant has over 100 years of history and plenty of awards! I love the mediterrean one more than white wine one... Cost us 47 euro for these 2 pots (800g each) of mussels.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Amsterdam, we were always shooting our album cover page :x

We've eaten countless meals of bread throughout the trip...

Nice presentation right?? Its made by the Sue Chef, in the Leeds Bradford Airport.

Cock shoes..postcards are too expensive that I cant afford to buy them T_T

Kinderdijk

19 windmills there. not to be missed spot!!

Cute uncle loh.

I really love kinderdijk

Was it 3 euros for the entrance? We did not get in though.

I only managed to capture few pcs of tulips before the batt died..I've been eagerly waiting for the flowers shooting...end up seeing them shooting.. T_T

Waiting to get all photos back!

Back from 7 days trip to Leeds, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels and Manchester. How should I describe the trip? Lots of fun, lots of memory, lots of saving + wasting ...

  • I really love pink tulips, also white, dark red and yellow ones. I was so excited to see the whole tulipsfield!! Now I know why Net loves tulipsfield so much!! The moment I saw tulipsfield, hua hai, I was super excited!! You are like really swimming in the flowers sea... The sad thing is... My camera had no batt to take the flowers!!! I'm going to get extra batt for my camera!!!
  • We were really so unlucky that...all of us speechless.. haiz... dun want to mention it anymore. It is really the never forgetting experience...
  • We've eaten countless meals of BREAD, just to save for the famous and awarded mussels in Brussels, the waffles... The mediterrean and white wine mussles were great, but the chocolate ice cream or chocolate sauce waffles were really too sweet for us! BUT belgium chocolate is really awesome!!
  • I would avoid to sleep in airport regardless of the season!
  • I would never step into Charpeloi Airport in Brussels, the strictest security check airport I've ever come across. Here it goes my SGD50 £%%^&*&*$%$$$^&
  • Holland is So SO so expensive in everything ranging from dorm, foods, entrance fee, postcards..... Belgium is slighter more affordable.
  • We've slept in the cheapest dorm in Amsterdam, 4 star hotel in Rotterdam, several CCTV monitored and plenty of house rules hostel in Brussels, Budget airport floor... How exciting @.@
  • BUt then, I love Amsterdam more than Brussels. I love the building, the river, the flower, the bicycles in the city...
  • Amsterdam ppl speak good english and more friendlier than Belgians, though residents in both countries are friendly and speak good english, than most of other European countries.
  • The windmill in kinderdijk is really stunning. 19 windmills, which were actually their houses in old days.
  • I've get married in Amsterdam. Looking forward to our June Honeymoon trip =p
  • Soon after I'm married, I've attached to another qingfu...
  • We met few Malaysians in Amsterdam. A guy who is working in Amsterdam helped us to purchase the train ticket at the night we arrived. On the flowers day, we met a couple whose husband/bf is sent to work in Germany for a year, so the wife/gf applied 9months leave to stay in Germany too. I'm so suprised that motoroxx in Butterworth allows 9months leave.
  • I told myself to be born with golden spoon next turn, so I can buy all the chocolates in Belgium, so brandy that I cant afford at all. 30-40euro/500g. Anyone??
  • many many more...

In conclusion, I enjoyed the trip so so so much!! The only thing was that I cant take the tulips photo in the most famous tulips garden in the world, which was my intention to visit amsterdam in this spring!!

Anyway, I've no time to upload and write everything... tomorrow there is another day trip to lake district, and one submission due in 6days, fyp in 7days...
